So much happens as we age.
We slow down.
Gain perspective.
Understand what is precious.
Perhaps let go of some things while we embrace others.
As we round the bend, going into the final stretch, we are confronted with physical, psychological, relational and spiritual challenges.
This transition might mean coming to terms with demons that need to be put into their place. Or …reconnecting to old, dear friends… or distancing from those that no longer serve you well.
Sometimes we need to honor and act on our personal dreams… while for some, finding humility and paying attention to others after a period of neglect.
This passage may be about our relationship with physical pain, the medical world… or finding an abiding reason for being.
The shadow is always there; as well as the challenge of discovering a new kind of freedom.
In this workshop, with psychiatrist Mark Banschick and psychotherapist Penny Cohen as our guides, we’ll explore the energetic impact of aging and discuss ways to let go of what no longer works, while embracing what truly does.
We’ll unpack how aging is affecting us, our clients or loved ones – and how we can seize happiness and live a more conscious life.
After all, we are all in the same special boat – the boat of this life.
There is a reason that aging is left for older people.
We’ve got what it takes.
