7-Day Challenge to Help Stop Starvation in Gaza
Palestinians in Gaza are facing extreme starvation while Israel’s militarized aid system, backed by the U.S., has turned distribution sites into death traps. Hundreds have been killed trying to access aid. Amnesty reports families choosing between starvation or being shot. Meanwhile, vital supplies sit untouched. The U.S. must stop funding this system. Our advocacy is making waves but real action and accountability are urgently needed.
How to Join the Challenge:
- Day 1: Sign & Share Our Action: Add your name to demand an end to Israel’s genocide in Gaza, the dismantling of the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation,” and the restoration of real, life-saving aid. Then share it widely.
- Day 2: Read and Share Firsthand Testimony: Read this harrowing new testimony from Amnesty’s field worker in Gaza. Email it to your two Senators, your Representative, and submit it to the White House comment form
- Day 3: Blast the Testimony on Social Media
- Day 4: Call the offices of your two Senators – we’ve set up a phone line that will prepare you with some talking points and connect you directly here: 347-252-6086. Demand they oppose the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation and support immediate, unimpeded humanitarian access to Gaza.
- Day 5: Take urgent action and sign our petition: to release Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya
- Day 6: Submit a letter: to the editor or an opinion editorial in your local paper. Use your voice to push for U.S. accountability and call attention to the genocide being carried out in our name. (Check out our guide here)
- Day 7: Send Postcards to Elected Officials: Write letters or send postcards to your Senators and Representatives, and to President Trump at The White House, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20500. Personal, handwritten messages get noticed.
Take one action per day to help build pressure and momentum to stop starvation in Gaza. You can start this challenge any day. Do it solo or with friends. What matters most is that we act now. Use our toolkit to learn more and take action here.
After completing the challenge, fill out this form, and we’ll invite you to take three additional actions to deepen your advocacy and solidarity – you’ll also be entered into a drawing to win a “CEASEFIRE NOW” Amnesty t-shirt!
