Summer may be here, but we’re not taking a break—not while the clock is ticking toward devastating federal healthcare cuts. Hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers stand to lose their healthcare coverage, hospitals and health centers are in danger of closing, and healthcare costs will rise for everyone if New York State doesn’t act. We’re not going to let that happen.
Here at CNYH, we have been gearing up for one of our biggest campaigns yet, which we will be launching in the coming weeks. As we prepare for the fight of our lives, we are reaching out to share some important upcoming events that we hope you will join.

Wednesday August 13th & August 20th at 5:30pm, Phone Bank for a Special Session, CNYH is co-hosting phone banks with the Invest In Our New York Coalition to call for a special session to pass NYHA, keep our neighbors safe and put an end to austerity in NY. Sign up here to join a phone bank.
Thursday, August 14th at 7:00pm, CNYH State-wide Hub Meeting, CNYH will host our monthly state-wide hub meeting. If you are interested in local NYHA organizing or joining a regional hub to organize, please attend this important meeting. Register here.
Thursday, August 21st at 7:00pm, CNYH Messaging Training, CNYH will be hosting a messaging training to go over NYHA talking points, how we frame NYHA in the context of federal cuts and general public speaking tips. This is an important training, as it will prime you for our upcoming Campaign to win NYHA. Register here.
Tuesday, August 26th at 7:00pm, NYHA 101, CNYH will be hosting our monthly NYHA 101, where we will go over the basics of NYHA. If you need a NYHA refresher or want to invite someone new to the movement, this is a great event. Register here.
