Watch the recording of our briefing on the Environmental Justice Siting Law (better known as Cumulative Impacts Law) on Wednesday, June 11th at 7:30 PM on Zoom. WE ACT for Environmental Justice provided a presentation on the law.
This law is supposed to protect environmental justice communities from experiencing additional burdens caused by the siting of new polluting facilities and renewal of permits for existing facilities in/near their already overburdened communities.
This meeting was held to cover the key provisions of the rulemaking process for this law and provide key information and resources for how individuals, organizations, and elected officials/municipalities/
