In its budget, the Trump administration proposed to cut the main source of funding for our water systems by nearly 90 percent with the goal of eliminating it all together in the future. As EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin goes before Congress this week to defend that proposal and as Congress digs into the spending bill for the next year, the WATER Act stands as a guiding star to show that the goal should be full funding for safe, clean and affordable water.
