The New York State Community Equity Agenda is organizing a really important Albany lobby day on Tuesday, May 2nd with a rally in the Capitol at 11 am in support of the NY Public Banking Act. Please participate if you are able to!
We would love for folks to retweet from the live-tweeting on the Public Bank NYC and NYS Community Equity Agenda accounts.
Other resources you might find helpful if you are not already familiar with public banking include our one-pager which includes the 150+ groups who have endorsed the bill, the letter in support from local elected officials, a climate-specific one-pager, two really good recent NPR Marketplace and The Nation articles that talk about the national movement for public banking and center the NY campaign.
