Volunteers Needed for High School Voter Registration Events
Sign-Up Slots are Still Available
The LWVWP is beginning its spring student voter registration activities at local high schools and Westchester Community College. This is one of our most popular initiatives, and we invite you to join in by signing up to participate. (Please note that one of the program coordinators, either Beth or Alan, will be in all classes to lead the lessons, and at tables to register.) Volunteers will help students to navigate the registration process and distribute and collect materials and forms.
Sign up as soon as possible – the deadline is March 20th – and we will email you specific times, rooms, and other information. For questions, contact Beth or Alan at the emails below.
We will have a 30-minute Zoom orientation on Wednesday, March 22 at 7 pm for first-timers and others who wish to attend. A link will go out the weekend before.
