My name is Sydnie, and I am writing to invite your Westchester community organization to the premiere of an original production, “Mi Abuela, Queen of Nightmares” at the Gene Frankel Theatre in Manhattan this June. The story follows Maya, a Salvadoran-American adolescent, navigating through personal trauma and family mythology through a rite of passage filled with magic and folklore in Phoenix, Arizona. There are a total of 10 performances throughout June, featuring the movement talents of bilingual actresses Vanessa Vivas, Marian Del Valle, and Fiamma Piacentini, among others.
