Thank you so much to all who participated in last night’s WESPAC Annual Meeting of Members.  Much important information was shared.  You can watch the full reports here
Based on the information shared, here is a quick summary.  All the groups are looking to expand their base and attract more supporters and those who can commit some volunteer time to helping them amplify their messaging.  We agreed to use the WESPAC discussion list as a place to make specific requests (help with website development etc).  Please let me know if you would like to be added to the discussion list:

Linda Conte: Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom.  Linda prepared a wonderful slide show that is available upon request.  She is looking to build the local Westchester WILPF Chapter!  Please reach out:
Patrick Schelle: Alternatives to Incarceration.  Please be in touch to join this growing network committed to ending youth detention in Westchester County:
Sandy Bernabei, Antiracist Alliance.  Meets monthly on the first Friday of the month for graduates of the Undoing Racism Workshop.  There is an active working group that prepares regular webinars on moving towards racial equity.
Delia Marx and Geoff Munroe: Westchester Cooperatives Network.  They will be offering a hybrid presentation at WESPAC on December 1st at 7pm! Register in advance for this meeting: 
Julie Carran: Westchester Coalition for Police Reform.  Please attend the 10th Anniversary of the White Plains Police Killing of Mr. Kenneth Chamberlain Sr. to honor his memory.  This Friday, Nov. 19th at 7pm in front of the White Plains Department of Public Safety, 77 South Lexington Ave in White Plains.

Howard Horowitz: Caring Majority Campaign.  Important upcoming event to register for.  Leaders in the Hudson Valley have played a critical role thus far in moving the needle on Fair Pay for Home Care, from creating a viral PSA, to publishing a report on the home care workforce shortage in the region, to getting nearly all our regional legislators signed on, to our recent Hudson Valley Roundtable on Fair Pay for Home Care with area state legislators.  Whether you are new to our Hudson Valley team or are an old-timer – we welcome you to our monthly regional meeting on ZOOM! Looking forward to seeing you at the meeting THIS Thursday, November 18th from 5 PM – 6 PM! Please click this link to register for the ZOOM link!
