Hello everyone,

WESPAC was able to connect teachers at White Plains High School with a tour of the survivors of the U.S. atomic bombs dropped in Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  The tour is being organized by a group called Nihon Hidankyo.  This delegation will also be testifying before a UN conference on Nuclear Non-Proliferation.

Two to three survivors known as Hibakusha will be speaking at the White Plains High School during the day (lunch time) on Tuesday, April 28th.  I am able to bring 10 WESPAC members with me to attend this event.  WESPAC intern, Tommy Severin, will be attending with me, so I would like to open up this invitation to eight more people (first come first serve basis).

I will send details to the folks who are able to form part of the WESPAC delegation to hear the Hibakusha.  Please reply to this email if you would like to be part of our delegation.

Best wishes,

Nada
