Over 3,600 undocumented students graduate from New York State high schools every year, but only a small percentage go on to pursue a college education due to financial obstacles. The New York Dream Act would help thousands of students qualify for state financial assistance and fulfill the American dream of making a quality education accessible to all members of society. Earlier this year, Governor Cuomo included the New York Dream Act in his executive budget and the NYS Assembly passed the bill again on February 26th. Due to the support of people like you, the NY Dream Act is closer to becoming a reality than ever before.
However, negotiations are still going on and we NEED your help if we are to succeed this session.
