Every year, The Freedom Theatre organizes an incredible Freedom Bus ride in Palestine. Using interactive theater and cultural activism, the ride raises awareness and builds alliances throughout occupied Palestine and beyond. Palestinian actors and musicians invite true stories from communities across Palestine and transform each account into a piece of improvised theater in what is known as playback theater.

You can be a part of this important initiative — you can join Freedom Ride 2015!

During March 19-30, 2015, students, artists and activists from across Palestine and abroad will join Palestinians at risk of forced expulsion from their ancestral homelands. The March Freedom Ride will include building and reconstruction work, protective presence activity, guided walks, interactive workshops, political actions and cultural events. Through playback theater, residents of the Jordan Valley and South Hebron Hills will also share personal accounts about the realities of life and struggle under settler colonialism, military occupation and structural apartheid. Details on how to sign up are available HERE. You can also visit the Freedom Bus website to learn about past rides.
