This event is free and open to the public.  Phyllis Bennis’ books will be available for signing including Understanding the US-Iran Crisis, Understanding the Palestinian-Israeli Conflict, Challenging Empire: How People, Governments, and the UN Defy US Power.

Phyllis Bennis is an American journalist, activist, and political commentator. Focusing mainly on issues related to the Middle East and the United Nations, she is a strong critic of Israel and the United States and a leading advocate for Palestinian rights.She directs the New Internationalism Project at the Institute for Policy Studies.
