I am so delighted to invite you all to our Annual Awards Celebration, a true highlight of the Social Justice Community's calendar every year where we honor those who have done outstanding work in furtherance of our agenda for progressive social change. This year, we honor Proyecto Faro working to protect immigrants in Rockland County and also serving as a treasured community anchor institution. We are also honoring the NY Caring Majority, working to create jobs for New Yorkers, support our Seniors, people with disabilities and caregivers, and rebuild our economy by paying home care workers a just wage. We are also honoring our very own Andrew Courtney this year, our WESPAC photographic chronicler of our social justice history here in the Lower Hudson Valley. Our special guest speaker is one of the most dynamic and truthful politicians - Jamaal Bowman! ![]()

Mothers Against Campus Antisemitism (MACA) has been organizing campuses to use Trump’s new hotline to call ICE on pro-Palestine students and demand their deportation. The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) is giving MACA’s leadership a prime platform to speak at their annual conference on March 3.![]()

Our Jewish community needs institutions that will fight the Nazis taking over the government, not a spineless organization that spends all its time attacking college students and backing the Trump-Musk deportation agenda. The Jewish community cannot be serious about fighting antisemitism if we align ourselves with Trump, Musk, and ICE.![]()

We need strong voices and organizations opposing antisemitism, racism, xenophobia, ethnic cleansing, and all forms of oppression. But we will not and cannot find safety by backing this fascist agenda. We will only find safety by standing in solidarity with other groups targeted by the far-right.![]()

This genocidal language is despicable, and what’s also incredibly disturbing is that the ADL is hosting Archie Gottesman at an event supposedly about fighting bigotry, at ‘The World’s Largest Summit on Antisemitism and Hate’ on March 3 and 4.![]()

The ADL defended Musk’s Nazi salute and refused to join thousands of Jews who denounced Trump’s plan to ethnically cleanse Gaza. It also embraced Trump’s Executive Order to deport students & immigrants who protest the Israeli military’s assault on Gaza. The ADL is singularly focused on demonizing the movement for Palestinian human rights, helping advance the MAGA goal of gutting all of our freedoms.![]()

The Trump administration’s power relies on civil-society institutions complying with their agenda. The only way to stop this administration from decimating our civil and political rights is if we band together to demand that the institutions that claim to serve and represent us don’t comply.![]()

Protest the ADL with @ifnotnoworg @ifnotnow.nyc @jfrejnyc & @rabbis4ceasefire this Monday, March 3, in midtown NYC, 5:15pm. This will be a Jewish-led action to express dissent with an organization that claims to represent us. Signs will be provided!
