Hello everyone!
As you probably know, on February 27th, CGDC & the Free School 19 campaign submitted the community’s proposal for the acquisition and redevelopment of School 19 into a multi-use community center for SW Yonkers. We are still waiting to hear back from the city about the status of our proposal, so we would like to continue to demonstrate our community support!
*** On this Tuesday March 12th @ 7pm, Mayor Spano will be holding a Town Hall Meeting in South Yonkers at the Peter Chema Senior Center at 435 Riverdale avenue (3rd Precinct).***
We encourage all of our supporters to attend and speak out!! Tell the city why the community is in need of a “Free School 19”, and what a renovated School 19 would mean for you!!
