WESPAC is very proud to support this work:

Dear Friends of LEAP,

As we reflect on the remarkable successes of this past summer, we would first like to express our deepest gratitude to our supporters who helped us educate and, in turn, empower Palestinian refugee-youth in Lebanon.  A grassroots volunteer program such as LEAP can only thrive with the support of people dedicated to the realization of a bright future for Palestinian refugee-youth.

Please take a moment to read the LEAP Summer Newsletter and learn about our 2012 SHINE Project!

Over the past three years, LEAP has made a positive impact on over 1500 Palestinian refugee-students and over 90 volunteers.  In the past year alone we quadrupled our efforts of outreach and impact, and we hope to surpass that in the year ahead.  The positive feedback from our students, the communities in which we carry out our work, and our partner-organizations inspires us to consistently improve and expand our opportunities.

This summer, 55 LEAP volunteers impacted over 800 students in 4 refugee camps in Lebanon: Shatila & Bourj el Barajneh camps in Beirut and Rashidieh & Bourj el Shamale camps in Tyre.

We hope that you will consider supporting LEAP so we can continue our educational projects and services by making a tax-deductible donation here LEAP is currently fundraising for our year-long education project, ASPIRE, and we hope that we can count on you for your support.  No amount is too small and every contribution will bring us one step closer to our fundraising goal!  Please watch this LEAP video to learn more about our work!

Thank you for your time and solidarity.  We hope that you will support us in empowering Palestinian refugee-youth in Lebanon.

With peace & appreciation,

The LEAP Team
