WHAT: Westchester for Change, along with our coalition partners* will host a community forum on Gov. Cuomo's 2012-13 executive budget. With particular attention to safety net programs, school finance, and tax fairness, Ron Deutsch, Executive Director of New Yorkers for Fiscal Fairness, will explain how proposed funding will affect Westchester residents. The forum will then provide members of the public an opportunity to discuss how the budget will affect them. All elected officials in attendance will then have a brief opportunity to respond to the public concerns.
The forum will close with attention to follow-up actions our coalition will organize and join in order to protect important services and investment in New York.
