Demonstration to Stop the Certification of Risky Hybrid Voting Machines in New York

The State Board of Elections has certified one risky hybrid voting machine in the state and is poised to certify another. These machines combine scanner/touchscreen voting devices and ballot-marking devices that security experts say can record fake votes. Join Smart Elections on June 6th in Albany at the office of the State Board of Elections to demonstrate against the certifications of these risky machines and say yes to hand-marked paper ballots and secure, well-maintained ballot-marking devices for voters with disabilities.

When: Thursday, June 6th, 11am
Where: State Board of Elections Offices, 40 North Pearl Street, Albany, 12207
