With the Medicine Wheel

March 1, 2015 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Using the Teachings of the Directions as a Self-healing/Therapeutic Tool.  In this healing workshop, we will use the “Medicine Wheel” model of the universe to help bring our lives into balance and harmony. This model is one of cosmos, not chaos, of order and harmony, not discord. In the fourness of things we find enlightenment, in the Taoistic Red Road Path towards Wholeness. We will draw our own personal wheel as a form of visible prayer, making songs and chants, and share them with others. We will also discuss how the wheel can be used in conjunction with western science, especially as a complement to conventional western therapies.  Contact Evan at [email protected] or call (845)266-9231. $45 per person. If anyone feels they will not be able to attend without a partial scholarship, please email Evan at [email protected] or call (845)266-9231. We gather at the office of Susan Wright, Clinical Therapist, 1600 Harrison Avenue, Suite 203A, Mamaroneck NY 10543.

Evan is a Mi’maq descendant and ceremonialist with over 25 years experience, and is author of more than 22 books on native culture. Susan J. Wright, a practicing shaman and licensed massage therapist since 1981, is also certified as both a Gestalt psychotherapist and yoga teacher and is a licensed clinical social worker, integrating social work, psychotherapy, and shamanism with yoga, belly dancing, and craniosacral therapy.
