Veterans, Trauma, Healing

November 10, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

On November 10th, 7 PM,  the eve of Veteran’s Day, there will be a screening of a beautiful film at the Stony Point Center that will be of interest not only to Veterans, but anyone related or working with someone who has been in military service.
Please see the flyer below and put it on your calendar.

“Healing a Soldier’s Heart” documents some of the profound work being done by the group Soldier’s Heart, founded by Dr. Ed Tick. As part of their programs working with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and what has been called “Moral Injury,” they have taken many Vietnam and Iraq Veterans to Vietnam for healing journeys meeting with soldiers from the “enemy” side.

A discussion will be facilitated by Veterans who have been working with Soldiers Heart and can speak from their own experience.

in peace,

Alan Levin
