Please note that our film this weekend will be on S U N D A Y March 26 and not Saturday.
Sunday, March 26 film is “Blue Box,” by Israeli director Michal Weitz. 12:00 Noon US EDT, 7:00 PM Palestine time.
The Jewish National Fund’s Blue Boxes were part of a successful fundraising campaign to support the purchase of land in Palestine. Joseph Weitz, the filmmaker’s grandfather, was the man who orchestrated the acquisition and expropriation of Palestinian lands. Weits’s private diaries reveal an uncomfortable truth.
