Medicare for All Town Hall

Our movement for Medicare for All has never been stronger. But as the 2020 election cycle heats up, political elites are getting scared and pushing “moderate,” “market-friendly” approaches. Join us on Sunday, March 10 in White Plains to discuss why we must demand nothing less than Medicare for All, and how we can fight to keep this the defining issue of our political moment. Medicare for All Town Hall featuring Michael Lighty Sunday, March 10, 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm 99 Church St., 4th Floor, White Plains, NY This town hall will feature longtime democratic socialist, Sanders Institute Fellow and leader in the single-payer movement Michael Lighty. Michael will explain the ins-and-outs of the single-payer policy, why the demand is so critical, the bold politics that inform this demand and how we can push the fight for Medicare For All going in 2019 and beyond. NOTE: We will serve light snacks, and this event is kid friendly. Please let us if you plan to bring your kids.
