Join Community Action Network’s (CAN)  Constitutional Forum – a Public Dialogue on How our Constitution Safeguards our Freedoms!

SPEAKERS:

 

Michael Sussman, Civil Rights Lawyer, will discuss ‘What is populism?, why it is dangerous for democracy?, and how it can be resisted under the US Constitution?’ 

 

Howard Horowitz, Professor of Geography at Ramapo College will discuss how suppression of freedom of speech affects environmental scientists.

 

Mark C. Johnson, Director of the Institute for Bible and Social Justice, Stony Point Center will discuss implications of Trump’s promise  to “totally destroy” the Johnson amendment on the separation of Church and State.

 

Trent Schroyer, Professor Emeritus  Ramapo College, will discuss Constitutional Patriotism.

 

This event is free, but a $10 donation to cover expenses is most welcome.
