September 25, 2016 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Let’s Celebrate the Season of Creation

Governor Cuomo: Halt the Spectra AIM Pipeline

“It is time to stop this cycle of destruction.” (Rev. Tutu )

Interfaith Climate Justice Vigil

Date: Sunday, September 25

Time: 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.

Place: Home of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo

4 Bittersweet Lane  Mt. Kisco, NY*

Diverse faith leaders and residents from across the NYC tri-state area will gather for a peaceful INTERFAITH VIGIL to commemorate the Season of Creation and support Governor Cuomo’s much needed urgent action to stop the Spectra AIM pipeline!

We share deep concerns for the imminent danger caused by fossil fuels & their destructive infrastructure that scars our land, threatening our lives & our common home. We therefore continue to support you spiritually in your journey to climate justice that you may find the courage to move steadily to 100% renewable energy. The technology is available and you have the power to implement it!

Bring a favorite poem or prayer, musical instrument, a song to share, or sign!

*NOTE: Parking is difficult near the Governor’s home and the nearby Presbyterian Church parking lot is not available. We will meet at the Mt. Kisco train station (free parking on weekends) at 5:15 pm for a 5 min. shuttle bus ride to the house. There is a train from NYC that leaves Grand Central Terminal at4:22 p.m. and arrives at Mt. Kisco at 5:22 pm. The shuttle will also transport people from that train to the home.
