Forum on Fair Elections and Campaign Finance Reform

January 28, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Westchester for Change is working with our partners, including Indivisible BlueBlast!, WESPAC, ACLU People Power, CWA Local 1103, Citizen Action NY, Citizen Action Hudson Valley and others, to host a discussion on Monday, January 28 from 7-9 pm at the Theodore Young Community Center at 32 Manhattan Ave. in White Plains about the importance of passing campaign finance reform in the 2019 legislative session.

After the passage of key voting reforms on January 14, we must keep the momentum going and press for campaign finance reform. If we want to win on issues like caring for the natural environment, supporting public education, improving access to health care, reforming criminal justice, and expanding affordable housing, then we need to get rid of big money and increase the power of small dollar donors. Stanley Fritz of Citizen Action NY will lead the discussion
