Day of Action in Support of Public Education!
February 12, 2020
Join us with the Alliance for Quality Education (AQE) on Wednesday February 12 in Albany for DAY of ACTION for the push for Foundation Aid – funding for our under-funded public schools! We welcome organizations, parents, students, teachers, schools representatives to join us as we deliver a powerful message, 
OUR SCHOOLS MATTER.
Attached you will find more information on Foundation Aid. You can also visit the AQE website to see how much your school is owed here.

Logistics:
**Bus Departure Locations 
:
1- Yankee Stadium in The Bronx,
2. 14th, and 4th in Manhattan
3. – 1 Metro Tech in Brooklyn.
**Departure times: TBD but will be between 6am and 7am depending on pick up location.
**Arrival to NYC: 6:30 pm.
**Breakfast and Lunch: Will be provided.
Agenda:
This is a full day event and will include lobby visits, direct action component, chants, speakouts, and performances. If you are planning on attending, there will be a prep call on Tues 2/4 at 12pm and Thursday 2/6 at 6:30pm. Please direct any questions to Asamia Diaby at [email protected].
