5/10 WASS Zero Waste Task Force Meeting

Westchester Alliance for Sustainable Solutions (WASS) would like to cordially invite you to our fifth monthly WASS Zero Waste Task Force meeting via zoom on Wednesday, May 10th at 7:30pm. These meetings convene monthly to build a collective county-wide effort, with representation from various sustainability committees and community-based organizations across our region, to advance truly sustainable waste management practices and end dirty garbage incineration in Westchester County.
This month we will be highlighting our coalition work on the state level. We will be joined by representatives from both the Beyond Plastics and NY Renews coalitions to learn more about their statewide priorities, the state of play for these campaigns, and how we can all plug in to help get these very important environmental bills passed the finish line before the legislative session closes up for the year in June.
