Free Energy: A Local Family Saves by Going Solar

Details: Most months, Greenburgh Nature Center Naturalist John Mancuso and his family of 5 pay nothing for electricity—that is, since the Mancuso family installed solar panels on their roof three years ago. Come hear the Mancuso family’s story and learn how you too can generate energy on your own property—free from the sun! Lee Streisfeld-Leitner of Sunrise Solar who worked with the Mancusos will give a basic primer on the technical requirements and financing of residential solar installations. Refreshments by Greenburgh Nature Center at 7:00, program starts at 7:30.
