Here is the write up about the WESPAC workshop in Detroit.  The presenters include the coordinator of the Detroit Coalition Against Police Brutality, Ron Scott, the son of the recently assassinated Imam Luqman, Omar Regan, Lena Masri from CAIR-Michigan and WESPAC Director, Nada Khader.

 

In context, Detroit has the largest concentration of Arabs outside of the Arab World.  Detroit also has one of the highest foreclosure and unemployment rates in the country:
