The WESPAC Economic Justice Committee promotes economic justice through planned action and meets at WESPAC:
- to promote and support sustainable projects and responsible government and consumer spending at the local level
- to engage in study circles on what economic democracy and local self-sufficiency would look like, including a proliferation of worker-owned cooperatives
- to host film nights at WESPAC that cover issues relating to a living wage, privatization problems and wealth disparities
- to advocate economic justice locally, nationally, globally, mobilizing growing participation, joining those who have common goals - labor, religion, environmentalists, legal, peace, educational, health and human rights sectors
- to provide information that stimulates responsibility from government and commercial enterprises to effect economic opportunity, international debt forgiveness, fair trade agreements and support for economic self-sufficiency projects in all nations
