About WESPAC Foundation Board MembersAly Abul-KheirAly has maintained an accounting business in Yorktown Heights for the past three decades and has participated in WESPAC events, letters to the editor and national mobilizations for many years. He serves as the Treasurer of the WESPAC Board. Sandy BernabeiSandy Bernabei is the founding member of the Anti-Racist Alliance, an organizing collective whose purpose is to "undo" structural racism as defined by the People's Institute for Survival and Beyond. She serves as the Co-Chair of the WESPAC Board. Khusro Elley Khusro Elley has been an activist since the age of six. He is a retired Vice President of Ethan Allen, the furniture company, and has started two non-profits in Pakistan including the largest Mental Health Hospital. He is very active with the local community in New Castle, with NCCTV, the Chappaqua Library's Foreign Policy Study Group and also serves as an important liaison with the Muslim Community. He is the Chair of the WESPAC Board. Annia Jaffa Annia is concerned with environmental issues and brings a corporate background to the WESPAC Board. She is currently serving as the Chair of the Annual Awards Dinner Planning Committee. Ellie Ommani Ellie has been an anti-imperialist activist for the better part of four decades. She, along with her husband Ardeshir, founded the American-Iranian Friendship Committee. She has been active with WESPAC for the past five years and has organized countless buses to Washington, DC in rain, snow and sleet. She serves as the Secretary of the WESPAC Board. Jalal Sabur Jalal is a community organizer with a focus on food justice, housing and community violence issues. He is a core organizer of the social forum and has offered workshops on media and gender violence. Sundiata Sadiq Sundiata is a longtime member of WESPAC and the previous President of the Ossining NAACP. He is very active with the Free Mumia Abu Jamal Coalition and the campaign to free all political prisoners. Geoff Smith Geoff Smith is serving as WESPAC's legal counsel. He has much experience with community organizing, real estate litigation and non-profit management. The WESPAC Foundation Board meets four times a year, usually the first Monday of January, April, June and October. Each board committee is expected to meet at least once in between board meetings and is expected to report to the full board at each board meeting. The board committees include:
