Thursday, March 5th: The Great New York Power Shift – Transitioning to a Low Carbon Future

The Gen En Campaign at Pace University is about building the pillars of our clean and efficient energy future around the environment, entrepreneurship, and engagement.

And there’s no better place to be than right here in New York State, which is looking to set new standards for system resiliency, market innovation, community involvement, carbon reduction, and environmental protection.

It’s one thing to talk about moving beyond fossil fuels to a zero-carbon energy menu for the Empire State; it’s another to take the steps that could achieve this great transition. Where are the hurdles, both technical and political? What innovations are most likely to surmount those obstacles? What’s the role of government, business, and citizens?
